- Programs by and for the community: The Council of Chiefs is founded and led by Traditional Coronated African Chiefs from Delta States of Nigeria who understand the needs and goals of the community they serve.

- Strong partnerships: The Council of Chiefs values working with Domestic and Diasporal partners to help locals access more opportunities and to help other Non-Profit community service providers.
